The 2009 IEEE International Workshop on Portable Information Devices will be held 20–22 September 2009, co-located with the 70th IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference, in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. This event will bring together electrical, materials, mechanical, optical, reliability, industrial and manufacturing engineers, as well as business leaders involved or interested in various types of Portable Information Devices (PIDs), to address and discuss the "state of the art", challenges, attributes and pitfalls in PIDs and related areas.
