Citizens of certain countries require an entry visa for Ireland. If you are a citizen of a country that is on schedule 1 below, you do NOT require an entry visa for Ireland. Citizens of countries which are not on the list must apply for a visa to enter Ireland before they travel.
Transit Visas are required by citizens of the countries listed in "schedule 2", available at http://foreignaffairs.gov.ie/home/index.aspx?id=8605.
All citizens of non-EU countries, whether they require a visa or not, are subject to immigration control at the point of entry to Ireland.

To obtain a visa to attend this conference, you will be required to present a letter from the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society to the Irish Embassy or Consulate when filling out your application. We are happy to write this letter provided that you have registered and prepaid the appropriate fee for the conference. Please visit our registration site if you have not already done so. Once your registration is complete please make note of your confirmation number and amount paid (you will need to provide these on the visa letter request form). Registrants will receive a visa letter sent via Airmail and facsimile (provided you supply a fax number) by filling out the form below completely.
Visa requests will be processed from January 2007 (registration opening) until 16th April 2007. Letter requests cannot be processed after this date.

The Irish Government will be validating registrants requesting a visa with the IEEE VTC Spring 2007 Registration Database. If the original registrant cannot attend and is designating a substitute the database needs to be updated or the Irish Government will deny you visa.
The registrant is responsible to make these changes with IEEE Conference services.
