2009 IEEE 70th Vehicular Technology Conference: VTC2009-Fall

The 2009 IEEE 70th Vehicular Technology Conference will be held 20–23 September 2009 in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. The conference will bring together individuals from academia, industry and government to discuss and exchange ideas in the fields of mobile, wireless and vehicular technology. The conference will feature world-class plenary speakers, panel sessions, tutorials, and technical as well as application sessions.

This year VTS celebrates its 60th anniversary. In commemoration, we have established a Hall of Fame to recognize those individuals whose outstanding and lasting contributions have had a significant impact on the technologies represented by the fields of interest of VTS.

In Anchorage, VTS will honor the first inductee, Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs, Founder and Former Chairman and CEO of Qualcomm, in recognition of his "lasting contributions and impact in wireless communications and CDMA technology".
