VTC2012-Fall is organized into 13 tracks covering all relevant technical areas:

  1. Ad-Hoc, Mesh and Sensor Networks
    Medium access control; routing and transport protocols; cross-layer protocol design; opportunistic and cooperative networking; performance and quality-of-service; energy management; network security; information processing and aggregation; middleware and programming; simulation and emulation; gateways and inter-working; test-bed deployment and experiences; wireless mesh networks; vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANET); delay-tolerant networks (DTN).

  2. Antennas and Propagation
    Propagation prediction and simulation; propagation channel measurements; channel estimation; narrowband and wideband channel characterization and modeling; multiantenna propagation channels; ultra-wideband propagation; antenna design and characterization; RF subsystems.

  3. Cognitive Radio and Spectrum Sensing
    Spectrum sensing; cooperative sensing; spectrum measurements; dynamic spectrum access; spectrum mobility; spectrum policies; cognitive radio networks; cognitive radio protocols and algorithms; MIMO/OFDM-based cognitive radio; co-existence of primary and secondary networks; IEEE 802.22; cognitive radio prototypes.

  4. Cooperative Communications, Distributed MIMOs and Relaying
    Distributed space-time coding for cooperative communications; distributed beamforming for cooperative communications; relay technology; cooperative multiple access; cooperative routing; game theory for cooperative and cognitive networks; resource allocation for cooperative communications; PHY and MAC layer design for cooperative wireless networks; characterization and modeling of cooperative and cognitive wireless networks; applications of cognitive and cooperative communications in vehicular networks.

  5. Multiple Antenna Systems and Space-time-frequency Processing
